A lot to update on....

First of all, last time we posted Madelyn's room was a disaster zone! Thanks to the help of Ali's mom and cousin, Megan, we were able to get the room painted and Kyle assembled the crib. Here's a first peek at the progress. Still to come...blinds, curtains, wall hangings, etc.

On February 3, 2010 Kyle's grandfather, Paul Lavallee, passed away. Kyle was able to be with Granddad when he passed and was able to bring Granddad an ultrasound photo of Madelyn. The picture of Madelyn is now with him forever and we are certain that he will be watching over her. He was so excited to be a Great-Granddad and we were so excited for Maddy to meet him. She will get to hear many stories about him as she grows up- he will always be in our hearts. A bouquet of pink roses were at the funeral home from Madelyn for her Great-Granddad.

This past weekend for Valentine's Day we went on a Babymoon! We stayed three nights at the Intercontinental Montelucia Resort in Scottsdale, AZ. We had a great weekend of much needed rest and relaxation. The weather was beautiful! We were out by the pool most of the day and ate well all weekend! It was a wonderful last getaway before Madelyn comes. Here are some photos of the trip:

Finally, since we are now at 30 weeks here is a photo of Ali. We can't believe there is only 10 weeks until our due date!! We are getting excited and nervous!
