Getting ready for Baby...

After a wonderful break in Indiana with family, we are back into work full swing. Also on our to-do list now is getting a room ready for our little girl! We are trying to do things in small steps so we don't get too overwhelmed with all there is to do to get ready.

First up....moving the furniture from the guest room into the office. This didn't take us as long as we thought. Here's a pick of the new "guest room" (minus new blinds and pictures on the walls) for those of you who are thinking of coming and visiting!

Next, we spent a weekend cleaning out all closets in our house to make room for all of her things that are going to take over the house! It was a nice organizing project and you never know what you're going to find! We ended up with a pile for Goodwill, a pile for storage and a pile for trash. Right now her room doesn't look like much more than a junk pile, but that's going to be moved by the end of the weekend.

Next weekend we will be painting the baby's room! Ali's mom will be here to visit so we're putting her to work to help us.

We've start accummulating quite the pile of things for our daughter. The newest addition has been the crib and changing table- thanks to Memere and Papa (Westerlind). It's still in the box until we have the room painted, but we are so excited to put it together....well, Kyle is excited to put it together since he'll be doing all the manual labor. :)

Ali is feeling well starting into her third trimester. She is starting into her 27th week. She has a doctor's appointment this next week and then she'll start going every 2-3 weeks! Here is a picture of her at 24 weeks.

We also are happy to announce we've finally picked out a name!!! Our daughter's name will be MADELYN JOY WESTERLIND.

So, for our second poll question- we're getting down to details.
