Yesterday was our second ultrasound. Look at how much different Baby Dubs looks! If you look closely you can see his or her nose, eyes and mouth. At one point an arm was covering his/her face, but he/she is photogenic so it moved in time for the photo! :)
The doctor even let us see how the blood moved through the body and out the umbilical cord. Below is a picture of that and you can see the heartbeat! 158 BPM this time- according the old tale that could mean a girl!
Ali has been doing a lot of traveling for work this semester and just returned from Oregon to see her brother David play soccer. The traveling is over until Christmas, which she is thankful for. She's had a couple more big episodes of nausea, but now that we are at 11 weeks, that should die down in a couple weeks.
Kyle has been extremely busy being the Head Football Coach of the high school team this year. He's enjoyed his time and has his last game this Friday- Go Falcons! We are looking forward to planning for a baby's room- Kyle can't wait to get a glider/rocker!
In the meantime, Ali has been doing some shopping with Angela and her mom as her pants cannot button anymore. Here's a picture of her with the "fake bump" that you can try on with maternity clothes.

We've also received a few gifts appropriate for fall. Our friends the Messinger's got us our first Butler gear (who beat USD in a last minute field goal this past weekend!!) and Kyle's Aunt Kathy sent the first Patriot's/ Red Sox gear! It doesn't matter if it's a boy or girl- they will be Butler/Red Sox/ Patriots fans!

Our next appointment is November 4th. Our big ultrasound where we should be able to tell if it's a boy or girl is scheduled for December 4th.
Stay tuned for more updates!
Aunt Kathy has more, LOl.... this is too much fun!
